Here you can see a list of Public holidays in Bhutan 2017.The Employment and Employment Act of 2007 stipulates employment and employment regulations in Bhutan, including entitlement to paid leave and annual leave. The majority of the holidays in Bhutan are based on traditional Asian religious and cultural observations. All employees are entitled to a minimum of nine paid holidays per year, including the birthday of His Majesty the King and the National Day. The payment is made at the regular work charge of an employee. An employer may allow an employee to replace a holiday for another leave.
